THE LEGEND OF 420 | Coming to theaters Oct. 6

THE LEGEND OF 420

Directed by Peter Spirer

Opening in select theaters
October 6, 2017

Available on VOD and iTunes
October 3, 2017

THE LEGEND OF 420 explores the controversial use of marijuana and the evolution of mainstream society. From a dangerous narcotic, listed as a Schedule 1 Drug substance since the 1970s, to the rush to decriminalize it today. What has changed and why? Has the Government made the war on drugs a war on people? Cultural icons and experts will weigh in, contributing their own personal stories, discussing the impact of cannabis on the zeitgeist.

In Northern California, we will follow the growers. What does it take to produce “quality stuff?” What is the difference between one plant from another. What are the true medical benefits? Why are people serving life sentences for marijuana convictions? What will the Cannabis Industry look like in five years? There are now CBD infused dog biscuits, Bud and Breakfast hotels and professional cannabis cuisine and soon there will be cannabis-themed malls & amusement parks. Will it retain its integrity as a homegrown industry or will it capitulate to Big Business? “Fruity Pebbles” themed cupcakes for the “holiday” at the local baker? Yep…must be “420.”

THE LEGEND OF 420 is directed by Peter Spirer and written by Michael Andrews. The film is produced by Kelly Bevan and Peter Spirer. Executive producers are Phil Hunt and Compton Ross. Cinematography is Eric Anderson and film editing by Ryan Bloom.

YEAH YEAH YEAHS ANNOUNCE THE REISSUE OF THE SEMINAL BREAKTHROUGH ALBUM FEVER TO TELL

YEAH YEAH YEAHS ANNOUNCE THE REISSUE OF THE SEMINAL BREAKTHROUGH ALBUM FEVER TO TELL

AVAILABLE IN DELUXE AND STANDARD LP & DIGITALPRE-ORDER FROM SEPTEMBER 26th, RELEASE OCTOBER 20th HEADLINE SHOWS IN LOS ANGELES & BROOKLYN ON SALE SEPTEMBER 29th

YEAH YEAH YEAHS have announced details of a vinyl reissue of their seminal, ground-breaking debut, Fever To Tell, on October 20th through Interscope Records / UMe. The album will be available as a Limited Edition Deluxe Box, Standard LP, and Digital deluxe and standard re-mastered editions. Pre-Order for all editions from Sept 26th, with release on October 20th. “Shake It”, a previously unreleased track from the Fever To Tell era, is available as an instant grat now via all digital formats.

Speaking about the release, the New York trio said, “A friend of a friend kept asking if we were ever gonna put Fever To Tell out on vinyl as it hasn’t been on vinyl in 10 years. That’s not right. So here it is on vinyl for the first time in 10 years plus a time capsule of photos, demos (1st ever recorded,) a mini film documenting our near downfall and other fun memorabilia, from the turn of the century NYC, made with love + the usual blood, sweat + tears of Yeah Yeah Yeahs.”

One of the finest debut albums of recent times, Fever To Tell was released in 2003 and was influential in shaping the sound of the early aughts and beyond. Prior to its release, Karen O, Nick Zinner and Brian Chase had already established themselves as a ferocious live force; Fever To Tell introduced a band who could play thrilling and frenetic rock’n’roll one minute and captivating, hushed ballads the next. Its meld of scuzzy riffs, angular grooves and hypnotic hooks set a template that was often imitated over the next decade but the album’s rare chemistry isn’t easily replicated. It’s a snapshot of an era that sounds just as mesmerizing as it enters its 15th anniversary in 2018.

In celebration of and in addition to the reissue, the band has announced shows in Los Angeles (The Fonda Theatre, October 25) and Brooklyn (Kings Theatre, November 7).  These two exclusive underplays join the two previously announced 2017 festival appearances, full list of dates below.  Tickets for Los Angeles and Brooklyn dates go on pre-sale with the vinyl pre order September 26th, and general on-sale September 29th.   More info and ticket links at yeahyeahyeahs.com

Lost City of Cecil B. DeMille-a Hollywood mystery, coming 10/3!!

“Part Detective Story, Part ‘Raiders of the Lost Ark’…”

THE LOST CITYOF CECIL B. DEMILLE

In 1982 He Heard About an Ancient Egyptian City Buried in the California Desert…
For 30 Years He’s Been Fighting to Dig it Up!

The Mystery Debuts on Digital & VOD – October 3, 2017!

Leading independent cinema distributor Random Media and Lost City Productions debut a Hollywood detective story that will thrill any fan of movies and history -- THE LOST CITY OF CECIL B. DEMILLE on Digital and Video-on-Demand on October 3, 2017!   A fascinating documentary that pays tribute to Cecil B. DeMille, one of Hollywood’s most innovative and commercially successful filmmakers, it is the story of a more than 30 year quest to unearth from the sandy coast of Central California, the remains of one of De Mille’s most monumental undertakings: the Egyptian city constructed for his first spectacle, 1923’s The Ten Commandments.

Trailer:

THE LOST CITY OF CECIL B. DEMILLE follows the decades long quest of Peter Brosnan, who first heard rumors of the burial of DeMille’s City of the Pharaoh, a huge set encompassing 20 sphinxes and four 35-ton statues of Ramses, in 1982.  Too daunting to be constructed inside a 1920’s-era studio soundstage, DeMille and his production staff found their “faux-Egypt” on the beaches of Santa Barbara County.  When they finished shooting, rather than leave the sets to be repurposed by second-rate hacks hoping to steal a little of his thunder, DeMille had the sets buried in the sand, counting on time and coastal elements to eventually destroy them.

Fascinated by this bit of movie lore about “the last of the great sets” and optimistic that much of the set may have survived, Brosnan and film-school friends Bruce Cardozo and Richard Eberhardt set out to arrange for an excavation and make a documentary.  What followed was decades of on-again, off-again excavation efforts, as the project faced seemingly insurmountable funding stumbles and bureaucratic obstacles.

“What an extraordinary story… a rare combination of film and cultural history."
--  Leonard Maltin

THE LOST CITY OF CECIL B. DEMILLE documentary is the story behind the excavation, highlighting Brosnan’s multiple agonizing years of starts and stops, as funding, red tape and weather halted the well-publicized story that wouldn’t die, even when Brosnan was ready to walk away, over and over again.  It concurrently interweaves the history of famed director DeMille with fascinating firsthand accounts from dozens of people who were involved in the groundbreaking 1923 production, including studio executives, extras, spectators and the filmmaker’s granddaughter Cecilia DeMille Presley.

Synopsis
Have you seen “The Ten Commandments” with Charlton Heston?  Did you know that in 1923 Cecil B. DeMille made a silent version of the movie?   Because Egypt was far away from the studio and estimated to be much too costly, DeMille shot the film in Santa Barbara County, California, about 150 miles north of Hollywood, and built an enormous ‘City of the Pharaoh’ set, literally taking over the economy of the surrounding community and creating a fantastic spectacle.  Designed by Paul Iribe, the “father of Art Deco,” it was the largest set in motion picture history.

When filming wrapped, the city mysteriously vanished.

In 1982, Peter Brosnan was sitting in a bar when someone told him that there were ancient Egyptian Sphinxes buried somewhere in the California Dunes.  It sparked his imagination and he embarked on what turned out to be a thirty year battle to prove the existence of these Sphinxes and the discovery of the Lost City.

After searching in the California desert, Brosnan located what he believed was the site of the 1923 filming. Over 33 years in the making, “The Lost City of Cecil B. DeMille” is an extraordinary tribute to a director whose innovative and fearless style continues to inspire modern day filmmakers, almost 60 years after his death.

THE LOST CITY OF CECIL B. DEMILLE explores the spirit of a man, Peter Brosnan, who walked away from this project three times in frustration, only to be called back a fourth time. The result is an iconic tale of a reluctant hero, who finally surrenders to his destiny and accepts that he was chosen to follow this quest and tell this story.

Alamo Drafthouse's American Genre Film Archive and Something Weird Announce Release Date and Pre-order For BAT PUSSY Blu-ray -- Banned By Amazon!

Alamo Drafthouse's American Genre Film Archive, the largest non-profit genre film archive in the world, and Something Weird are excited to announce an October 17, 2017 release date for the BAT PUSSY Blu-ray. After a successful Kickstarter campaign in 2015, AGFA purchased a 4K film scanner to create new digital transfers of titles from the Something Weird library. BAT PUSSY is the second release of dozens in this partnership, following THE ZODIAC KILLER. Fans of trash cinema will be able to snatch up a copy of BAT PUSSY from a variety of retailers following its release, save for one: mega-retailer Amazon.

"We're thrilled that our Blu-ray release of BAT PUSSY has been banned by Amazon," said AGFA director Joe Ziemba. "It's reassuring to know that truly outlaw exploitation filmmaking is still alive and kicking -- even if it's forty years old."

Considered to be the first X-rated parody, BAT PUSSY is as lurid and tasteless as its title implies. Put another way: It's mess-terpiece of your wildest dreams... And also your most horrifying nightmares. The citizens of Gothum City are under attack by smut filmmakers and only one hero can help! Bat Pussy (Dora Dildo) hangs out in her secret headquarters (aka an outhouse). When her "twat begins to twitch," warning her of imminent crime, Bat Pussy hops on her Holy Hippity-Hop to foil the grotesque sex schemes of un-happily married couple Buddy and Sam! The unidentified lunatic filmmakers of BAT PUSSY have never been located, providing further proof that this movie was most likely made by extraterrestrials.

To celebrate the release, AGFA and Something Weird will present a world premiere screening of their new transfer of BAT PUSSY at Fantastic Fest in September, with Something Weird's Lisa Petrucci in person.

"Having BAT PUSSY restored and released on Blu-ray is just gawd-damn crazy," said Petrucci. "Out of all the films AGFA could have chosen for it's second collaboration with Something Weird, this one is unexpected and will come as a shocker to most genre fans. Needless to say, this pleases me."

Features:
 - New 2K scan from the only surviving 16mm theatrical print
- Commentary track with Something Weird's Lisa Petrucci and Tim Lewis, and the AGFA team
- Crime-smut trailers and shorts from the Something Weird vault
- Liner notes by Mike McCarthy, the savior of BAT PUSSY, and Something Weird's Lisa Petrucci
- Bonus movie: ROBOT LOVE SLAVES (1971), a new 2K scan from an original theatrical print
- Reversible cover art with illustration by Johnny Ryan (PRISON PIT)

By 1977, Frank Zappa’s Halloween shows were already the stuff of legends. While the shows began in the late ‘60s, around 1972, these monumental performances would become annual events, initially in Passaic, NJ and Chicago, IL before moving to New York City in 1974, where they’d remain.  NYC (and its audience) had become a special place for Zappa and the synchronization of Halloween in NYC proved to be the perfect match. From October 28-31, 1977, Zappa and his band played six historic shows at the 3,000 capacity Palladium. All the performances were recorded with four being filmed, resulting in Zappa’s mammoth film project, “Baby Snakes.”

Following the news that Frank Zappa will be going back on tour, the Zappa Family Trust and Universal are proud to announce that Zappa’s legendary Halloween residency of 1977 will be released for the first time in its entirety on October 20 via Zappa Records/UMe just in time for the 40th Anniversary of these shows. The Halloween 77 box set will include all six concerts with 158 tracks (mixed in 2016 from original vault masters) loaded onto a “Zappa’s Oh Punky” fun size candy bar-shaped USB drive in 24-bit WAV audio. The package will also include a 28-page digital booklet featuring never-before-seen photos and liner notes from Vaultmeister Joe Travers, co-producer of the box alongside Ahmet Zappa, and personal firsthand accounts from many of Zappa’s bandmates, crew and fans who were there, including guitarist Adrian Belew, percussionist Ed Mann, keyboard tech Thomas Nordegg, tour manager Phil Kaufman, and fan Janet “The Planet” Walley. In the spirit of Zappa’s favorite season, the specially designed, limited run box will include a retro Halloween mask and costume of the maestro himself. In addition to the box set, a 3CD version will also be available featuring the entire Halloween night show plus select tracks from the October 30th gig.  Fans looking for a specific show will be able to purchase the concert of their choice digitally on release day.

“This box set was a very special experience for me to work on,” said Ahmet Zappa. “I wanted to make sure we honored these legendary shows, so it was important to me that this box set felt of the era. It was a blast working with our partners to create the late ‘70s-inspired Frank Zappa Mask and costume and the candy-shaped USB stick filled with tons of Zappa goodness. It was yet again a labor of love gathering up all the archival materials, reading notes by people who were there, and most importantly making sure the audio was up to par. All of us at Zappa Records are mighty pleased with it, and hope that fans of Frank Zappa and of Halloween will be too.”

Originally scheduled for four shows from October 28-31, Zappa added two more shows due to intense popular demand, with the final total tallying six shows in four days. The full residency is presented as it happened with no overdubs or additional tinkering. The audio was remixed from scratch using fresh transfers from the master multi-track tapes, which all had to be heat treated for transfer by Travers.

The 1977 lineup of the band featured Terry Bozzio on drums, Tommy Mars and Peter Wolf on keyboards, Adrian Belew on guitar and vocals, Ed Mann on percussion and Patrick O’Hearn on bass; this band could really burn. Over the six shows, the ensemble averaged 25 songs per night with exciting improvisations and audience participation from “New York’s Finest Crazy Persons” at every show, making each uniquely different. At these shows Zappa really got into the spirit with Halloween antics including bringing tech Thomas Nordegg on stage to perform some magic tricks and the band’s tour manager, the “Road Mangler,” Phil Kaufman, performing as the human trombone. Original Mothers’ bassist Roy Estrada also joined the festivities.

The songs performed at this musical marathon spanned Zappa’s then 11-year career with tracks from Hot Rats, Over-Nite Sensation, Bongo Fury, One Size Fits All, and his most recent album at the time, Zoot Allures. Many of the songs played were previously unreleased and would go on to be recorded for Zappa’s acclaimed 1979 album, Sheik Yerbouti, including “Flakes,” “Broken Hearts Are For Assholes,” “Jones Crusher,” “Bobby Brown Goes Down,” “City Of Tiny Lites,” “Tryin’ To Grow A Chin,” and “Wild Love.” The October 30th show notably featured the world premiere of the Grammy-nominated Disco satire “Dancin’ Fool,” and the one and only performance of Zappa’s infamous “Jewish Princess.” The basic tracks from this performance were used on Sheik Yerbouti’s controversial studio version which ultimately attracted attention from the Anti-Defamation League who asked the FCC to ban the record from being played on the air.

Halloween 77 is not only rife with fan favorites but also includes many rare and unreleased performances and arrangements. This box set includes the first official release of the instrumental version of “Conehead.”  These five versions are vastly different than the song that would be included on Zappa’s 1981 record, You Are What You Is. The rarely played “Läther” was performed at all six shows and immediately followed by the equally rare, “Wild Love,” which became a solo workout each night. This one-two punch was followed by the comedic song “Titties ‘N Beer,” ultimately released on Zappa In New York, made especially memorable each time for the caustic improv dialog Zappa spewed about a then ongoing legal battle with Warner Bros. Other highlights include six extended guitar workouts of “The Torture Never Stops” and the combustible Halloween night finale of “Black Napkins.”

Continuing the Zappa Family Trust and UMe’s Zappa on-going vinyl initiative, Zoot Allures will be reissued on 180-gram vinyl on October 20. Zoot Allures features two of Zappa’s signature guitar pieces, “Black Napkins” & “Zoot Allures.” The album became a fan favorite since its release in 1976. Originally conceived as a double-disc, Zappa re-edited it to a single record after pressure from his record company. This 180-gram reissue was mastered and cut directly from the analog tape master by Bernie Grundman in 2017.

As the nights draw in, it just means more time to enjoy late-September / October's superb lineup from Arrow Video, including some wonderful Halloween treats in the form of a grindhouse classic, an Oscar-winning British comedy classic, classic horror from Stephen King, several superb Italian films, and a blaxploitation chiller. Lavishly packaged and including limited edition items, Christmas has come early for film collectors!

Featuring stellar performances from Linda Hamilton (Terminator) and Peter Horton (thirtysomething) and based on a short story by Stephen King, The Children of the Corn is a horror classic that has spawned multiple sequels and imitators, but none as harrowing as this masterpiece of horror.

The Dual Format debut of The Suspicious Death of a Minor, a 1975 giallo/'poliziotteschi' hybrid, from the great Sergio Martino (All the Colours of the Dark, Torso) arrives on October 3rd. With a cast that includes Mel Ferrer (Nightmare City), Barbara Magnolfi (Suspiria) and Jenny Tamburi (The Psychic), the lurid murder-mystery sees a cop on the trail of a Milanese criminal gang, and the Dual Format release includes a brand new 2K restoration of the film from the original camera negative, produced exclusively by Arrow Video.

October 3rd sees the Blu-ray release of A Fish Called Wanda, the hilarious and irresistible farce from 1988, starring John Cleese, Michael Palin, Jamie Lee Curtis and Kevin Kline . A box office smash, nominated for three Academy Awards (winning one for Kline's outstanding supporting turn as the psychotic Otto), A Fish Called Wanda has stood the test of time and can be rightfully called a comedy classic.

The 3rd also sees the release of a superior Italian thriller. First, deemed shocking at the time for its brutal violence, depiction of the Catholic Church and themes of child murder and paedophilia, Don't Torture a Duckling is widely regarded today as Fulci's greatest film, rivalling the best of his close rival Dario Argento. Arrow Video is proud to present this uniquely chilling film in its North American high definition debut. From Lucio Fulci, the godfather of gore (The Psychic,  The Beyond), comes one of the most powerful and unsettling giallo thrillers ever produced.

Next up this month is Blood Feast, a brand new restoration of the ground-breaking splatter classic from the Godfather of Gore, Herschell Gordon Lewis, the wonderfully lurid story of an insane caterer killing young women and stealing body parts as part of a ritual to reanimate an Egyptian goddess. The disc also includes late, great Lewis's Sixties sleaze-fest Scum of the Earth.

Just in time for Halloween is a stunning UK DVD and Blu-ray debut of of the blaxploitation favourite JD's Revenge, about a man possessed by the spirit of a murderous gangster. Featuring Academy Award-winner Louis Gossett Jr (An Officer and a Gentleman), this is alternately tough and terrifying - a Blaxploitation gem waiting to be rediscovered.

And last but certainly not least, is the swansong of the great Italian filmmaker Federico Fellini (La dolce vita, 8½), The Voice of the Moon. This new restoration from the original negative seeks to right that wrong and provide the film with a second chance. Concluding a career that had stretched back more than fifty years, The Voice of the Moon combines the nostalgia of Amarcord, the surreal satire of City of Women and the naïf-adrift-in-a-brutal-world structure of La strada... Plenty for Fellini fans to get their teeth into.

Children Of The Corn [Blu-ray] (9/26)

From the mind of celebrated horror author Stephen King, the man behind such classic terror tales as The Shining, Carrie and It, comes one of his most chilling offerings yet - Children of the Corn.

A young couple on a road trip find themselves lost in the backroads of rural Nebraska, eventually winding up in the seemingly abandoned town of Gatlin. But the town is far from empty - as the pair soon discover, it's inhabited by a twisted cult of murderous children thirsty for another blood sacrifice...

Adapted from King's eponymous short story first published in 1977 and starring Linda Hamilton (The Terminator), Children of the Corn has gone on to spawn one of the most enduring horror franchises of all time.

The Suspicious Death Of A Minor [Dual Format] (10/3)

In the wake of the success of Dario Argento's ground-breaking giallo The Bird with the Crystal Plumage, numerous other directors stepped forward to try their hand at these lurid murder-mysteries. At the forefront was Sergio Martino (The Strange Vice of Mrs. Wardh, Torso), whose sensual 70s thrillers starring Edwige Fenech and George Hilton are widely celebrated as some of the best the genre has to offer.

The final of Martino's six gialli, The Suspicious Death of a Minor combines conventional giallo trappings with elements of the then flourishing 'poliziotteschi' crime thrillers. Claudio Cassinelli (What Have They Done to Your Daughters?) stars as undercover cop Paolo Germi, on the trail of a Milanese criminal outfit following the brutal murder of an underage prostitute. But a killer-for-hire is also on the prowl, bumping off witnesses before they have a chance to talk...

Also starring Mel Ferrer (Nightmare City), Barbara Magnolfi (Suspiria) and Jenny Tamburi (The Psychic), and featuring a script by veteran giallo writer Ernesto Gastaldi (All the Colors of the Dark, Death Walks at Midnight), this unique and lesser-known entry in Martino's filmography serves as an essential link between two different movements in Italian popular cinema.

A Fish Called Wanda [Blu-ray] (10/3)

In 1988, John Cleese, former Python and the mastermind behind Fawlty Towers, teamed up with the veteran Ealing Comedy director Charles Crichton (The Lavender Hill Mob) to produce another classic of British comedy.

Cleese plays Archie Leach, a weak-willed barrister who finds himself embroiled with a quartet of ill-matched jewel thieves - two American con artists played by Jamie Lee Curtis and Kevin Kline, Michael Palin's animal-loving hitman and London gangster Tom Georgeson - when Georgeson is arrested. Only he and Palin know the whereabouts of the diamonds, prompting plenty of farce and in-fighting as well as some embarrassing nudity and the unfortunate demise of some innocent pooches...

Nominated for three Academy Awards and winning one for Kline's outstanding supporting turn as the psychopathic Otto, A Fish Called Wanda has stood the test of time, earning its rightful place among its creators' remarkable comedy pedigree.

Don't Torture A Duckling [Dual Format] (10/3)

From Lucio Fulci, the godfather of gore (The Psychic, The Beyond), comes one of the most powerful and unsettling giallo thrillers ever produced: his 1972 masterpiece Don't Torture a Duckling.

When the sleepy rural village of Accendura is rocked by a series of murders of young boys, the superstitious locals are quick to apportion blame, with the suspects including the local "witch", Maciara (Florinda Bolkan, A Lizard in a Woman's Skin). With the bodies piling up and the community gripped by panic and a thirst for bloody vengeance, two outsiders - city journalist Andrea (Tomas Milian, The Four of the Apocalypse) and spoilt rich girl Patrizia (Barbara Bouchet, The Red Queen Kills Seven Times) - team up to crack the case. But before the mystery is solved, more blood will have been spilled, and not all of it belonging to innocents...

Deemed shocking at the time for its brutal violence, depiction of the Catholic Church and themes of child murder and paedophilia, Don't Torture a Duckling is widely regarded today as Fulci's greatest film, rivalling the best of his close rival Dario Argento. Arrow Video is proud to present this uniquely chilling film in its North American high definition debut.

Blood Feast [Dual Format] (10/10)

The filmography of late movie maverick Herschell Gordon Lewis brims with the mad, macabre, and just downright bizarre. But perhaps the most unhinged of all his directorial efforts, and certainly the most influential, must surely be his original gore-fest Blood Feast - the first ever splatter movie.

Dorothy Fremont is looking to throw a party unlike any other, and she gets just that when she hires the decidedly sinister Fuad Ramses to cater the event. Promising to provide her guests with an authentic Egyptian feast, Ramses promptly sets about acquiring the necessary ingredients - the body parts of nubile young women!

Featuring a host of stomach-churning gore gags including the infamous tongue sequence and much more nastiness besides, Herschell Gordon Lewis' Blood Feast more than lives up to its name and remains essential viewing for any self-respecting splatter fan.

J.D.'s Revenge [Dual Format] (10/31)

It wasn't long before the Blaxploitation boom moved into the horror market, bringing the world Blacula, Blackenstein, Abby (Blaxploitation's The Exorcist) and cult favorite J.D.'s Revenge.

Law student Ike is enjoying a night on the town with his friends when his life changes dramatically. Taking part in a nightclub hypnosis act, he becomes possessed with the spirit of a violent gangster murdered in the 1940s. Believing himself to be the reincarnation of murderous J.D., Ike launches a revenge campaign against those who had done 'him' wrong all those years ago...

Directed by Arthur Marks (Bucktown, Friday Foster) and starring Glynn Turman (Cooley High) and Academy Award-winner Louis Gossett Jr. (An Officer and a Gentleman), J.D.'s Revenge is a alternately tough and terrifying - a Blaxploitation gem waiting to be rediscovered!

The Voice Of the Moon [Dual Format] (10/31)

The swansong of the great Italian filmmaker Federico Fellini (La dolce vita, 8½), The Voice of the Moon emerged without fanfare: it played the Cannes Film Festival out of competition after its Italian premiere and failed to secure distribution in North America and the UK. This new restoration from the original negative seeks to right that wrong and provide the film with a second chance...

Adapted from a novel by Ermano Cavazzoni, The Voice of the Moon concerns itself with Ivo Salvini (Roberto Benigni, Life Is Beautiful), recently released from a mental hospital and in love with Aldini (Nadia Ottaviani). As he attempts to win her heart, he wanders a strange, dreamlike landscape and encounters various oddball characters, including Gonnella (Paolo Villagio, Fantozzi), a paranoid old man prone to conspiracy theories.

Concluding a career that had stretched back more than fifty years, The Voice of the Moon combines the nostalgia of Amarcord (the film is set in Emilia-Romagna countryside of the director's youth), the surreal satire of City of Women and the naïf-adrift-in-a-brutal-world structure of La strada. Plenty for Fellini fans to get their teeth into.

Bela Lugosi, Vintage Halloween, & General Mills Monster Cereals collections from Fright-Rags
Available now at Fright-Rags.com

Fright-Rags bids you welcome to three new apparel collections for the Halloween season: Bela Lugosi, Vintage Halloween, and General Mills Monsters.

Fright-Rags pays tribute to one of the original horror icons with the Bela Lugosi collection. It includes three shirts and four enamel pins inspired by two of the actor's most influential roles: Dracula and White Zombie. One of the shirts and two of the pins glow in the dark.

For the Vintage Halloween collection, Fright-Rags enlisted Nathan Thomas Milliner to illustrate two heavyweights of Halloween horror - Halloween's Michael Myers and Trick 'r Treat's Sam - in the style of vintage decorations. Each design is available on custom-made black and orange baseball tees as well as regular T-shirts.

General Mills' monster cereals are back on shelves, but you won't find Frute Brute or Fruity Yummy Mummy in stores this year. Fright-Rags has got you covered with the General Mills Monsters collection. Both characters have a shirt and a baseball tee in their honor. Limited quantities of last year's shirt and mask box sets featuring Count Chocula, Boo Berry, and Frankenberry are also on sale.

Bela Lugosi, Vintage Halloween, and General Mills Monsters collections are available now at Fright-Rags.com. Stay tuned for even more Halloween treats soon.
