CREEPSHOW VHS-Inspired Box Set & EVIL DEAD Trading Cards from Fright-Rags
CREEPSHOW VHS-Inspired Box Set & EVIL DEAD Trading Cards On Sale Now at Fright-Rags.com
For many, the '80s were all about horror movies, VHS tapes, comic books, and trading cards. Fright-Rags manages to pay tribute to all of these nostalgic elements with its new releases for George A. Romero's Creepshow and Sam Raimi's The Evil Dead.
The Creepshow collection kicks off with a Creepshow Video Series box set. Limited to 225, the package includes an exclusive shirt featuring the film's original poster art by Joann Daley, The Creep two-piece enamel pin set, VHS sticker sheet, and Fright-Rags microwave popcorn, all packaged in a collector's box that looks like an oversized Creepshow VHS.
Fright-Rags has also created Fluffy mini-masks. Based on Tom Savini's creature from Creepshow's "The Crate" segment, each 6" retro-style mask is packaged in a cardboard crate box. It's available in two colorways: standard (limited to 300) and red/blue (limited to 200), which emulates the film's comic book-inspired lighting.
The massive Creepshow collection also offers an enamel pin from each of the anthology's five segments, custom-knit comic panel-style socks, Daley's artwork on baseball tees, and a reprint of Justin Osbourn's bestselling Creepshow shirt.
Fright-Rags expands its line of wax packs with The Evil Dead official movie photo cards. Each pack contains nine trading cards and one sticker, with sketch cards and other chase cards randomly inserted. They're available in single packs, factory boxes, and sealed boxes.
The Creepshow collection and Evil Dead trading cards are on sale now at Fright-Rags.com. Stay tuned for The Fly merchandise coming next week.

A Kids Book to Explain "Trump's Wall"
Many parents are struggling to find the words to explain Trump's wall. A new book deals with this issue in a non-partisan way. The book is (pretty straightforwardly) called THE WALL and includes a pop-up border wall in the center. It's the story of a king who builds a wall in his kingdom to separate people who don't look like him. But once the division occurs, he realizes his kingdom isn't so lovely anymore and he knocks the wall down with a new appreciation for his diverse and talented kingdom.
The book was previewed this weekend at New York Toy Fair, and the response was overwhelmingly positive. It caught many people in their tracks with folks jokingly asking if the "king" was planning a "kingdom shutdown." Others responded that they wish the book had come out sooner, and that they couldn't wait to use the book to explain this issue to their children.
